We at Luxury Events Group love to stay on top of the latest trends for wedding decor – after all, its what we do! There are so many new styles gaining popularity it can sometimes become a little overwhelming. But never fear, we’ve put together our top predictions of the most stylish trends set to be big in the bridal world in 2018.

Rose Gold

Not just popular for interiors, 2017’s trendiest colour is continuing to stand the test of time and is making its way into wedding decor. The subtle pink metallic shade lends itself effortlessly to an elegant table setting and looks amazing as an accent in cutlery and table linen.

Botanical Details

Flowers are a must-have at any wedding, but lush greenery is also making a statement this year. We are already starting to see delicate plants such as eucalyptus and fern find their way into bridal bouquets and the result is simply stunning. We’ve also had an influx of brides and grooms requesting foliage to be incorporating into their table decor and personally, we can’t get enough of it! These natural accents looks particularly effective at a barn or orangery- style venue.

Ultra Violet

Pantone released their colour of 2018 and it is an ideal base for a wedding colour scheme. Ultra violet is described as an ‘enigmatic’ purple, which ‘suggests the mysteries of the cosmos, the intrigue of what lies ahead, and the discoveries beyond where we are now.’ Now doesn’t that just sum up the anticipation of a wedding perfectly! Incorporate this stunning colour in your bouquet, bridesmaids dresses and centrepieces.

Transparent Elements

Clear candelabras, chairs and even venues are big news this year. Conservatories and greenhouses are looking to be very popular in 2018, giving the guests a small glimpse into the magic inside! Always ahead of the curve, Luxury Events Group have been using transparent plinths for our beautiful cherry blossom trees for a few stylish brides, and we expect them to be even more popular this year!

Capes

A dress trend that’s set to make waves for weddings to come is the fashion-forward cape. Inspired by the catwalk, expect to say feathers, mesh and of course, lace! For maximum impact, select a full length, sleeveless gown teamed with a beautifully embellished cape.
