Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event or party, the Luxury Events Group team strive to make any occasion sparkle! This time, the team touched down in Wolverhampton to style a surprise 80th birthday party for a very special lady, Lisa. This striking building made the perfect setting for a Great Gatsby themed party! We were incredibly excited to get to work on this 1920’s style black and gold affair and love the finished design we envisioned and brought to life!
The Luxury Events Group team worked hard to make the décor look spectacular. The room was set for 150 guests and each table was carefully arranged and dressed with finesse and immaculate attention to detail. Sequinned linen draped over the round table and each one featured alternating centrepieces. Our stunning glass candelabras made a real impression – especially when surrounded by beautiful hydrangea arrangements. We sprayed some of the gorgeous bouquets gold to match to the theme and really give the centrepieces a touch of glamour! The ivory pillar candles looked divine in their glass display and offered an exciting and welcoming ambience.
In addition to the stunning candelabras, we also used cherry blossom trees. Luxury Events Group know that the tiniest details make the biggest impact; like the use of gold string on the globe lanterns to give the trees a totally luxurious feel. We also scattered gold petals at the tree’s base which really added an extravagant and lavish feel. Around each tree were five vases with golden floating candles, giving the tables a charming and whimsical look.
Each chair was adorned with sequin sashes and perfectly complimented the charger plates and cloth napkins. With it’s scintillating purple uplighting, the room looked absolutely amazing once everything was finalised and put into place. We really enjoyed styling this lovely lady’s party and the theme was such fun to work with!
The event was a complete success and we are so pleased that Lisa and her family loved the décor. We’d like to give special thanks to Stephen Mcgowan, who took these amazing and beautiful photographs! He is an incredibly talented wedding photographer, do take a look at his website:
