Earlier this month, we found ourselves at one of our favourite venues of all time – the stunning Peckforton Castle. This idyllic setting was the place that our lovely couple Victoria and James chose to host their wedding day.
The ceremony room was truly a sight to behold – the aisle was lined with clusters of floating candles and pom-pom cherry blossom trees a-top plinths. Each tree had a floral arrangement at the base, which incorporated flowers of blue, white and plenty of foliage. A spectacular floral arch stood where the bride would take the first steps into her new journey and at the end of the aisle were canopy trees, complete with hanging globes and pure white roses.
Rose petals were scattered down the aisle, contributing further to the magical feel of the decor. To complete the fairtytale aesthetic, the happy couple’s initials were projected onto the wall behind them as they said their vows. It looked breath-taking!
The guests then adjourned to the reception room, which was dressed to perfection. The canopy trees made a second appearance over the bride and groom at the top table, framing their ivory thrones. Rose gold sequin cloths adorned each table and cherry blossom centrepieces were surrounded by gorgeous floral arrangements and floating candles. The decor perfectly highlighted the classic beauty of the castle, complimenting the rich tapestries and the glittering chandeliers.
The reaction of Victoria and James was amazing – they were blown away by how incredible the venue looked! Many thanks to the talented Shane Webber for capturing the day perfectly!
