We at Luxury Events Group love to get to know our brides and grooms so when we met the lovely Emma and Craig, we couldn’t wait to talk through ideas and make their dreams of a spectacular wedding a reality. Deciding upon a delicate blush colour scheme for the big day, we worked with the couple to create a vision of exactly what they wanted and make it come to life.
The wedding venue was the stunning Quorn Country Hotel in the picturesque and quaint village of Quorn situated in Loughbourgh. An intimate yet deceivingly large venue, the couple had both their ceremony and reception take place at the hotel. The ceremony was in the light and airy conservatory so Emma and Craig would have a beautiful view behind them as they said their vows. We kept the décor simple yet elegant; selecting gorgeous silk and chiffon ruffled chair covers and floating candle bowls with silk flower adornments. The chairs were arranged evenly on either side and made the perfect aisle for our beautiful bride to glide down and marry her new husband.
The reception room was where we were really able to go all out for the happy couple. The area was welcoming and traditional in style with several round tables and a large rectangular one in front of a gorgeous mirrored wall, giving the area an utterly sophisticated and spacious feel. In keeping with the pale pink shades of the colour scheme, we put together exquisite domed floral centrepieces which sat atop large Martini glasses placed on chic mirrored plates. The top table was the main attraction – Emma and Craig opted for more mirrored plates and a delightful assortment of floating candle vases in varying sizes. Crystal candle holders were scattered across the table and right in front of the bride and groom was a charming sign declaring them as Mr and Mrs Stringfellow. The room was breath-taking!
Huge congratulations are in order for Emma and Craig as they set sail into married life! We are so pleased to have had a part to play in their special day and the days of so many other lovely couples!
